Following the success of the 2015 committee, some members of that committee decided to form the 2018 WELCH-BAILEY FAMILY REUNION – BELIZE.

Members of the Executive Committee for the 2018 WELCH-BAILEY FAMILY REUNION – BELIZE, were nominated and then voted into office by other interested parties.

The WELCH-BAILEY FAMILY REUNION – BELIZE, Executive Committee Members are Claudette Welch – President, Justina Welch – Vice President, Libert (Fidel) Welch – Committee Chairman, Beverly Terry – Treasurrer, Jennifer Longsworth – Sargent of Arms, Denise C. Porter – Corresponding Secretary, and Jennifer Davis – Secretary.

An Ad Hoc Committee was also formed. Members of the Ad Hoc Committee are Paul Neal, Bernadine Bailey (NY), Sean Welch and Kristen Welch.

Why The 2018 Welch-Bailey Family-Reunion Belize Team Was Formed?

The birth of the 2018 WELCH-BAILEY FAMILY REUNION – BELIZE came about as a result of the 2016 Welch-Bailey Family Reunion.

Some of our 3rd generation of the Welch and Bailey Family of Los Angeles, realized that the majority of the 4th generation have not visited the birthplace of their parents and grandparents, so in 2015 several of the Welch and Bailey Family of Los Angeles planned a family reunion to take their kids to visit Belize.

The members who formed the 2015 committee were Selwin Terry, Verona Burks, Jennifer Longsworth, Claudette Welch, Paul Neal, Jennifer Davis, Denise Porter, and Pauline Bailey.

The 2015 Committee launched a successful Welch-Bailey Family Reunion in June of 2016, where over 20 family members from Los Angeles made the trip.
