DAY 1 –WEDNESDAY

After landing at the Philip Goldson International Airport, take a short taxi ride to your hotel; freshen up, grab a snack and head across the street (from the Princess Hotel and Casino) or take a short walk to the MCC Grounds Park and meet up with some local family members for a meet and greet.  Sign-up to join and play on one of our many teams or cheer on your favorite team including soccer, softball, tug-of-war, sack race and lots and lots more. Eat some local food like Panades, Tamales, and Rice & Beans. Order your favorite cocktail or local beer.

As the sun sets, we’ll strike up the band to some reggae, Soccer, and Punta music.

At 10:00 p.m. we will wrap things up with a night-cap at one of the local bar.

DAY 2– THURSDAY

At sunrise, grab yourself some breakfast and head to the lobby and hop on your bus to get an up-close and personal look at Xunantunich and Altun Ha Maya Ruins.

Don’t forget to bring some water and light snacks (or purchase something at a stop along the way), sun block, a hat, sunglasses and repellant. Bring a local family member along for a more joyful experience.

DAY 3– FRIDAY

On the third day you are free to rest or hang out with local family members, book one of the many tours the city has to offer like cave tubing, swimming with the sharks, dive the Blue Hole, visit Little Belize, or the Belize Zoo. The possibilities are endless. Ask an Executive Team Member for information or ask at your hotel concierge for details on trips.

DAY 4–SATURDAY

Pack your bags for a day trip to Manatees and Placencia to see firsthand the birthplace of some of your grandparents, parents or other family members. While you are there hear a little bit of its history from our family member Ms.___________, the local historian.

After having lunch at Mr. & Mrs. Gentle (the village’s local restaurant) we’ll head south to Placencia to enjoy the beautiful beach and have dinner at a local restaurant of your choice (there are many to choose from. Ask one of your Executive Team Member for recommendation).

At sunset, we’ll head back to Belize City where you will only have time to pack your bags, enjoy a short nap and be ready for day five.

DAY 5–SUNDAY

At sunrise, grab a quick breakfast and head to the lobby and grab a Taxi ($7.00 bze) or take a short walk to the Swing Bridge where your private chartered boat awaits you for your trip to a private island for a full day of fun in the sun. There are no shops or restaurant on this island so bring your picnic basket and a cooler and enjoy the beauty of the turquoise water and beautify white sand.

NOTE: Based on participant’s interest, instead of the private island, this trip may be to San Pedro Island or key Caulker. Destination will be determined at least 30 days before trip date.

DAY 6–MONDAY

If your schedule allows, catch the early morning service ten meet at a local restaurant (maybe Bird’s Isle) for brunch before heading back to the airport.
